2018 September 13 Meeting Flyer
The club is delighted to welcome Suzanne Hunt as our guest speaker to the September meeting. In 2017, Suzie was the first woman to be elected by her peers to the position of President of the WA Chapter of the Australian Institute of Architects. She will share with us her work with the Australian Institute of Architect’s National Council’s Gender Equity Taskforce. Come and hear about her role as a formal mentor of the recently established networking group #WorkWomenWisdom Forum for women in the design profession.
We will also have the opportunity to meet Janinne Gliddon, the Zonta Club of Perth’s District 23 Area 3 Woman of Achievement nominee for 2018. Janinne, a senior Health Promotion Officer, is the championing force behind Australia’s first hospital-based Aboriginal Volunteer Program at King Edward Memorial Hospital. “The goal is that Aboriginal patients at our hospital will feel more supported in a culturally appropriate way, which we hope contributes to optimum health outcomes for mum and baby.”
