With a smile and a song

Congratulations to everyone involved in last night’s successful ‘With a smile and a song’ event. Over 100 people enjoyed watching and listening to the wonderful singing talents of Grace Arangio, Jessica-Monique Bojanjac, Sarah Cocks, Courteney Cooper, Zoe Crisp, Maya Fernandez, Morgan Halket, Lachie Higgins, Charlotte MacInnes, Mayumi Morales, Emily O’Neill, Amber Scates, Keaton Stazeweski-Hose and Helen Steicke. Brodie Stewart on piano was superb. Zonta club member, Laura Bernay was the inspiration behind the event and had put together a diverse program that had the audience spellbound. Everyone will be hanging on to their programs as a reminder of the night – as we will all be watching these ‘young stars’ rise with interest.

The performer profiles helped us appreciate what a talented cast we were seeing! Gulveen Bandel from the Golden Z Club of St Catherine’s College described how all proceeds would be going towards purchasing 1,000 birthing kits.
Many thanks to Anais Popoff-Asotoff for her great job with the sound and lighting and to the Members of the Zonta Club of Perth for providing the lovely supper.
Congratulations to the ZC Annual Education Award winners!
Congratulations to Sharon Turner and Tracey Fickling, winners of the ZC Annual Education awards.
Tracey was unable to receive the award in person at the Zonta Awards Dinner on Thursday night, but we were honoured to have Sharon in attendance. Both Tracey and Sharon gave truly inspirational speeches, Tracey’s speech being read by Jill Anderson.
Amazing work Sharon and Tracey!
